Why InverFLOW Plus is often our first variable-speed option.

A replacement pump has to do more than fit between two pipes. It needs enough flow for filtration, backwashing, heating and cleaning without forcing the pool to run at full output all day. InverFLOW Plus gives us a broad adjustable operating range while keeping the physical package compact.

Madimack specifications at 230V. All three models use 40/50mm pipe connections and share a published body size of 544 × 252 × 288mm.

Installation & replacement

Retrofit-ready does not mean every replacement is identical.

We check the old pump position, suction and return pipe sizes, available straight pipe, filter flow limits and every piece of equipment relying on circulation. The aim is a tidy replacement that also operates correctly after the installer leaves.

5 yearsReplacement warrantyMadimack currently markets InverFLOW Plus with a 5-year replacement warranty for eligible residential installations through authorised channels. Its warranty schedule lists 5 years limited coverage and 1 year on-site labour. Commercial installations have different terms.

Pump selection is mostly a hydraulic and system-matching decision. These are the questions that matter most on real replacement jobs.

Which InverFLOW Plus size do I need?
We match the model to the required flow and head, filter limits, pipework and the other equipment on the system. Pool volume or old-pump horsepower alone is not enough.
Is InverFLOW Plus a direct replacement for every pool pump?
No. Madimack designs it as a retrofit-focused pump for many common brands, but pipe centres, unions, available space and hydraulic duty still need to be checked.
Does it have its own timer?
Yes. The pump supports daily timer periods, and it can also be controlled through the Madimack app where the site has suitable Wi-Fi.
Can it run a pool heater?
Potentially. The required water flow needs to suit both the selected pump and heater. The current InverFLOW Plus manual also documents control integration with compatible Madimack heat pumps.
What does the 5-year replacement warranty cover?
Eligibility and exclusions are controlled by Madimack. Their current Australian material markets a 5-year replacement warranty and the warranty schedule lists 5 years limited coverage plus 1 year on-site labour for InverFLOW Plus.
