Not every equipment pad needs an app ecosystem. K-Chlor earns its place because the useful functions are built around how a real pool operates: the timer can circulate without chlorinating, salinity can be checked from the controller, no-flow conditions are protected against, and dedicated Super Chlorinate, Spa and Backwash modes can be used without dismantling the normal schedule.
The controller can take a salt reading directly, giving a useful on-site indication without navigating through a complicated control system.

The Digital Gold range is available across a broad output range and suits both sodium-salt and mineral pools. We still size around actual chlorine demand, climate, run time and pool use rather than relying on litres alone. Higher-output K-Chlor models are also available for specialist applications.

Can K-Chlor run with minerals?
Yes. Current supplier information lists the Digital Gold range for both mineral and sodium-salt pools.
Is the cell self-cleaning?
Yes. The Digital Gold range uses a self-cleaning reverse-polarity cell.
Can the timer run the pump without chlorinating?
Yes. One of the useful Digital Gold functions is the ability to schedule pump-only operation, so circulation can continue without producing chlorine during that timer period.
Can it measure the pool's salt level?
Yes. The Digital Gold controller includes a salinity-measure function, along with water-temperature display.
What happens if there is no water flow?
The controller includes pump-protection functionality for abnormal flow conditions. We still make sure the pump, valves, filter and cell plumbing are correctly configured so the protection is not being used to mask a circulation problem.
What boost and service modes are available?
The Digital Gold range includes Super Chlorinate, Spa and Backwash functions, allowing temporary operating changes without rebuilding the normal timer schedule.
Does it have app control?
No — and for many pools that is part of the appeal. K-Chlor is a robust standalone controller. If remote control, automatic pH management or broader automation is the priority, InverCHLOR, EQ or Halo may be a better fit.
Can you replace an older K-Chlor with another brand?
