Where this pump fits

Built for systems with a demanding hydraulic job.

Large pools, swim spas and in-floor cleaning can place substantial demands on a pump. XP is designed for high-flow, high-pressure applications. We check the required operating point against the pump curve, along with the filter, suction plumbing and electrical supply.

High-flow dutiesFor systems needing substantial flow against the resistance of connected equipment.
Three pump sizes1.5, 2.0 and 3.0HP, with three-phase options in the 2.0 and 3.0HP sizes.
Large lint potA large basket collects debris, with access needed for routine inspection and cleaning.
Replacing a BX?XP replaces the older BX range. We still check the pump curve, plumbing fit and supply before ordering.
Best use

Good fit when

Swim jets, in-floor cleaning or circulation duties need high flow and pressure.
The required flow sits within the selected model’s performance range.
A fixed-speed replacement suits how the system operates.
Before ordering

Check carefully when

The filter or pipework limits the flow the system can accept.
The existing electrical supply or control outlet may not suit the selected variant.
You want adjustable speed or lower-speed filtration; compare a variable-speed option.

Model range

Choose the size and electrical variant together.

XP 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 are available in single phase; XP 2.0 and 3.0 also have three-phase variants. Confirm both the hydraulic duty and the electrical version before ordering.

Published flow is at 8m head; installed flow depends on system resistance. Single-phase models are listed at 240V. For three-phase units, the current webpage lists 400V and the linked datasheet lists 415V: confirm the selected unit’s rating plate and supply requirements with the installer.

Installation & replacement

High output needs the right plumbing and power.

A high-output pump must work within the limits of the whole installation. We check the suction layout, filter and connected equipment, then confirm the electrical variant, current demand, controls and physical fit. An older BX installation still needs these checks.

01Filter limitMaximum permitted filter flow remains a hard system limit.
02Connected equipmentConfirm the operating requirements of swim jets, in-floor cleaning, heating and chlorination.
03Priming & suctionPump location, suction condition and air leaks affect reliable priming.
04Physical & electrical fitConfirm phase, rating-plate voltage, current demand, control compatibility, unions and service access.

Warranty & documents

Warranty eligibility and manufacturer terms can change. We confirm the current conditions with the selected model at purchase and keep the relevant product documents available here.

Replacement & quote

Let us confirm the right XP for the job.

Replacing a BX or another high-output pump? Send the rating plate, a wide equipment photo and details of what the pump runs. We can assess the XP size, electrical variant and any installation changes needed.

XP FAQ

Questions worth answering before the pump is ordered.

Pump selection is mostly a hydraulic and system-matching decision. These are the questions that matter most on real replacement jobs.

Not sure this is the right pump?A clear photo of the pump label and one wider photo of the equipment area is usually enough for us to start.
Does XP replace the older BX range?
Yes. AstralPool identifies XP as the replacement for its older BX pumps. That does not guarantee a direct swap: Integra checks performance, unions, footprint and electrical requirements before confirming the replacement.
Which XP model do I need?
Selection depends on the required flow and head, equipment limits and available electrical supply. XP has 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0HP sizes, with single-phase and selected three-phase variants. We confirm the specific product code before ordering.
Is XP a variable-speed pump?
No. XP is a single-speed range. If everyday filtration would benefit from adjustable output, ask Integra to compare a suitable variable-speed option.
Can I interchange single-phase and three-phase XP pumps?
No. They require different electrical supplies and compatible controls. The installer must verify the selected unit’s rating plate, supply and current requirements; horsepower alone does not establish compatibility.
How long is the XP warranty?
AstralPool’s current residential warranty is 3 years for XP pumps, with mechanical-seal coverage limited to 2 years. Full manufacturer conditions and exclusions apply.
