AstralPool Viron XT. Variable-speed control with serious flow available when the system asks for it.

Viron XT combines low-speed filtration with high-output modes for more demanding pool systems. The P320 XT and P520 XT cover two very different hydraulic duties, with adjustable speed, fast prime, overdrive and Bluetooth setup.

Where this pump fits

Variable speed without giving away high-demand performance.

Some pools spend most of the day filtering quietly but still need a lot of flow for spa jets, fast priming, heating or other demanding duties. Viron XT is built around that split: reduce speed when high flow is unnecessary, then call on much more output when it is.

Installation & replacement

High available flow makes correct setup more important, not less.

A variable-speed pump can only be set correctly when the equipment around it is understood. We establish suitable filtration speed, then check the higher-demand modes against filter limits, plumbing, heating and any spa or cleaning functions.

Pump selection is mostly a hydraulic and system-matching decision. These are the questions that matter most on real replacement jobs.

What is the difference between P320 XT and P520 XT?
The main difference is available hydraulic performance. AstralPool publishes 303 L/min at 8m head for P320 XT and 580 L/min for P520 XT, so the correct choice depends on the system duty.
Does Viron XT always run at high speed?
No. It is a variable-speed pump. Routine filtration can be set lower, while fast-prime or higher-output modes can be used when the system requires them.
Can I replace a single-speed pump with Viron XT?
Often, but the replacement needs to be checked for pipework fit, filter limits, required flow and control requirements rather than selected from horsepower alone.
Does Viron XT have Bluetooth?
Yes. AstralPool lists Bluetooth as included for quick connection and setup.
How long is the warranty?
AstralPool currently lists 3 years for Viron XT P320/P520, with mechanical-seal coverage limited to 2 years, subject to its full warranty conditions.
